Where can I go to find out new construction leads for restaurants and hotels?

I started a business for reupholstery and manfacturing of commercial and residential furniture and would like to know if anyone can help here. The business is a little slow and would like any other avenues any of you can think of. I need more leads.

Create a video blog…instantly.
try looking in the newspaper for bid advertisement, or when you see something being built, go take your business card

You need to advertise. Get in the yellow pages and bold yourself. Look attractive, post incentives. Deals, free estimations, no traveling charges. Things like that.
Then find a directory like Thomas.net or something and figure out where you need to be when people search for contractors in their area. You need to search for a contractor that does the work you do, when you find THEM you will know where YOU should also post your information. Do that for weeks and weeks. You will get alot of different results everywhere. And dont just use page 1 of whatever the search is, go to page 2 and 3 as well. Yahoo.com and Google.com.
Altavista.com also has their hand in the workforce.
