First Time Home Buyer tax credit apply to buying home out of state?

Yes, as long as you close by November 30th. If moving to California, I can help you with that and I guarantee a 30 day close (at the most). BUT since your husband is unemployed, you may be qualify for financing… that needs to be your first step. Contact a lender in the state you are planning to move to and get pre-approved first.
